  13. Once upon a time I bought a modem with an RPI chipset, which I have now disposed 
  14. of :-).  However, life without a modem was intolerable, and therefore I bought a 
  15. 28,800 internal fax/modem.  It has a rockwell chipset, supports v34, MNP5, 
  16. v42.bis etc etc, and seems to work ok.  There is even a decent manual detailing 
  17. all of the commands and with a full technical specification.  My problem is that 
  18. I haven't a clue who it is made by :-)

  20. It doesn't say on the box, ANYWHERE in the manaul...wierd eh?  There is a number

  28. Anyone out there know what I have bought?  I am using demon internet - advice on 
  29. a good init string would be cool :-)
